I just alked to Kenny about doing a full service on my Indian. All the fluids, brake check, chain and belt check/adjustments, ect.
He quoted me $150-$200 for everything, filters and fluids included! WOW. I may never change the oil on that thing myself again! ;D

He won't answer my calls... weird. Not bad, man. I'm hoping that the starter drive will be about the same. I even have the replacement filter for him!!

LOL, FYI mechanics HATE when you bring your own parts. They lose money that way. LOL.

I just spoke with him. To replace the part, it'll be 90 bucks, then the cost of the gear, and the gasket on top of that. Tires will be 60 bucks a pop, but I will remind him about the agreement that he had with you when I get there.
The bad news. He doesn't have room in his shop for my bike right now. It'll take a few days to fix, but that I should call him mon Friday morning to see if he got a few of the bikes out...
I'll keep you posted.

Kenny Fultz is the guy who operates this small shop just North of Front Royal. I met Kenny when the club rallied to get Sarge's bike roadworthy again. He was AWESOME in helping me get a new head and mount Sarge's pipes back to it right. Great service, great price, great guy to work with. From the looks of his shop, he'll work on anything.
Details: Guard Hill Cycle Shop Kenny Fultz (Owner) 994 Guard Hill Road Middletown, VA (540) 869-1085
I am pretty particular about where I take my Indian to get work done. Kenny will be my guy for the forseeable future.
