 Went to start the bike up yesterday, just to let it run. When I hit the start button, the starter just started spinning. It was not engaging the crank, at least didn't sound like it. Any ideas? Do you think that it's just a fluke with the weather being as cold as it is? Is there a certain place that I can hit it with a hammer and just see if it's stuck? Not sure what I'm going to actually have to do to it, but I'm feeling a "party" coming on...  Need to make sure that this is fixed before the season starts. I may have to take off the tires for them to get mounted as well. It may be a long weekend project. What are you guys doing for the next few weekends?

It's official. I need to sell the bike. Cheryl and I can't get it started and I have been trying to get it to the shop for OVER A MONTH.

Yeah...Thata's exactly what I meant.  Have a great time on the boat! Sounds like a blast. As soon as it gets a bit warmer out, I might go start taking things apart. Bad part is that I don't have any gaskets, and the parts that I need are about as much as what Kenny's charging me... Oh, and I'm going to have to borrow a few tools from the neighbors. I still don't own a torque wrench... May get one on pay day this month. |

Get a hold of Kenny. I can help you get the bike to him Wed, Thurs, or Friday...TELL him you'll drop it off one of those 3 days.

Friday is the best shot for me. Meetings are brutal this week. I'll call him and keep you posted. Cheryl and I pushed the bike for about an hour trying to get it to pop on Saturday. Couldn't get it going fast enough, even with the help from the angle of the driveway. I appreciate the help. I haven't taken any off yet, so it should still be good for the ride to Kenny's.
I believe in the power of the torque wrench ever since I sheared the exhaust mounting bolts. HA!

Looks like Friday afternoon is a possibility to getting the bike to the shop. It would be awesome to get your help, Yukon. Wife just can't get the bike goin'...

By the way, I'm going to put a post in a different area of this board, but wanted to invite everyone to Buffalo Wild Wings in Winchester on Friday from 5 to 7 to celebrate Big Sarge's Birthday, along with Katie's. We need to lump these events together. As soon as all the bikes are running and ready to go, we will need to make this the first annual ride!
