The Iron Veterans Motorcycle Club was founded in November 2010 by five Vets who love to ride and enjoy helping others in need. This is a national motorcycle club. The Founding Members are Yukon, Sarge, Fuzz, Ferrari, and Doctor.
The Founders decided that they wanted to be in a club with fellow brothers from the military. They also wanted to be in a club that was all about brotherhood and the ride. A lot of other Vet clubs had some of the things the Founding Brothers wanted, but not everything. Some of the clubs had too many "biker" rules, some weren't interested in helping anyone other than Vets. Though the Iron Veterans are made up of Military members and Vets, they also use the Club to help others as they see fit.
The National Chapter of the club is also the Virginia State Chapter, as this is where the Club originated.
The Club has monthly membership meetings held in various locations around DC, VA, WV, and MD as determined by the board.
Full membership in the Club requires honorable military service, but Auxillary Membership can be granted on a case by case basis. To become a member of the Iron Veterans MC, please contact a Club Officer for consideration and more details.
